Established in 1995 and with over 150 years combined fishing and boating experience, we are sure we can direct you to where they are biting. With such a diverse array of fishing locations and species, there's always something happening somewhere. All of our staff fish and have their ear to the ground to find out the local gossip. We have locations and information for bluewater fishing for mackeral or bottom bashing for coral trout/red emperor. Or why not try our river fishing for barra or threadfin salmon, there's always a mud crab and if freshwater impoundment fishing is your game, Awoonga/Callide Dams are just over an hour away. We cater for everybody from the first time fisherman to the serious angler. Store Manager Steve has fished in the local area since he was 4 years young. Has an intimate knowledge of the local area and is not shy to share it. If you ask him where the fish are biting good chance he will tell you where to go.
Boating Manager Dale has been fishing and mucking around in boats since he was 6 years old. He specialises in electronics and all things boating. Any spare time is spent reef fishing. Come in and talk to Dale about all your boating needs.
Sales Rep Clint started fishing around the time he could walk and has been fishing the local area for the past ten years. My speciality is lures. On my days off I like to chase pelagics around the close islands in Keppel Bay. To find that perfect lure for your fishing needs come in and talk to me.
Sales Rep Dave has been fishing for as long as he can remember. Dave's lucky enough to have fished from North Queensland to the South East. Our rod, reel and soft plastics specialist. A keen Barramundi fisherman either on lures, fly or plastics. To get the perfect rod and reel outfit come and talk to Dave.
Sales Rep Bruce has lived on the land all of his life. He specialises in archery and guns. Started my fishing career fishing fresh water rivers and streams in New South Wales. A southerner that we finally converted. Come in and talk to Bruce for all your hunting and outdoors equipment.

Lee Hutchinson is our resident custom rod builder and reel technician. Qualified for all warrenty work. Lee practices what he preaches and is an integral part of the Barra Jacks team.
