The Flathead series represents a specialized rod collection crafted for flathead enthusiasts. Engineered in Australia to target the distinctive flathead species, colloquially known as the “southern croc,” the Atomic Arrowz Flathead range leverages custom-designed blanks. These blanks were developed using extensive feedback from our ambassadors and the expertise accumulated over decades by our lead rod designer. The series includes models tailored for both hardbody and plastics applications. The hardbody taper features a slightly slower action to ensure precise lure movement and minimize the likelihood of pulled hooks. Conversely, the plastics models are designed with a stiffer action to deliver immediate response to the lure.
