The Jackall Dead Rise has an action like no other bait on the market. When paused this unique lure rolls on its side and slowly rises to the surface with a slight wavering action as it ascends. With a medium retrieve speed this lure will turn itself upright and swim with a very smooth S shaped action. On a slow retrieve the Dead Rise will swim on its side mimicing the action of a wounded fish. The front hook is positioned on the side of the lures body. This placement is what allows the Dead Rise to achieve it's very unique floating action.
